Meet CDM Smith
A branding video for CDM Smith, a leading environmental engineering firm in Boston.
I acted as the Producer, Director, and DP on this film. It was written by Sue Cromidas and Laura Burton and shot in collaboration with Sue Kowalski. The project took us all over the country, from Boston to Washington State to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Footage was shot in 4K on Panasonic GH4 and a Drone-mounted GoPro.
International footage was not shot by me.
UAV's in Engineering
This is a promotional video I created to market a new UAV service offered by CDM Smith, an international civil engineering and water firm.
This video was shot by myself and photographer Sue Kowalski and the script was a collaboration with Jill Porazzo.
Tailgate Talks: Slide Rule & Hammer
The first in a series of Engineering/Construction videos produced for CDM Smith, a leading environmental engineering firm in Boston.
I produced, directed, and DP'd this video. I shot in collaboration with Sue Kowalski.
A Very Middle Eastern Visit
In June 2014, I found myself in the Middle Eastern desert visiting my dear friends Becca and Matt. Everywhere I looked there was another amazing view! This video is a quick cut of some footage I got while shooting a video for their friends and family to see what they're up to.
Boston Trinity Academy - Miracle
Hidden away in West Roxbury, there is a miracle. Boston Trinity Academy is a school that shatters the norm in most private schools where upwards of 90% of students are white. Rodney and Michael come from "different sides of everything," according to Rodney. But at school, they're quirky, lovable best friends rather than victims of the segregation that runs rampant through most other educational institutions in Boston even today.
It was my great pleasure to produce this short documentary from start to finish, which included shooting all footage, and editing.
Boston Trinity Academy Stories - Ramon & Vanessa
Ramon was the first person in his family to go to college, and it took an incredible amount of spirit, hard work, and personal discipline to get there. Boston Trinity Academy helped him discover his dream and go for it with all his heart.
Vanessa thought she wasn't smart enough for college-level classes as a high school senior. Thanks to the encouragement of an AP Euro teacher, she exceeded everyone's expectations, including her own.
