Building a Water Legacy in a Day
I got to follow Anthony Giovannone around for a day as he led a team of students and young professionals in creating an outdoor green space for an elementary school in downtown Chicago. Anthony's enthusiasm was contagious and the project was really cool.
All footage except timelapse was shot by me on Panasonic GH4. All editing, motion graphics, color, and sound mixing was done by me. I produced and directed this video with the help of Andrew Beaton and the MarComm team at CDM Smith.

A Very Middle Eastern Visit

Boston Trinity Academy - Miracle
Hidden away in West Roxbury, there is a miracle. Boston Trinity Academy is a school that shatters the norm in most private schools where upwards of 90% of students are white. Rodney and Michael come from "different sides of everything," according to Rodney. But at school, they're quirky, lovable best friends rather than victims of the segregation that runs rampant through most other educational institutions in Boston even today.
It was my great pleasure to produce this short documentary from start to finish, which included shooting all footage, and editing.
Valerie's style of design is clean, simple, and modern. She designs for both print and digital display.
